Gabby and Miley's Grooming Studio is based Ballincollig, run by expert dog groomer Avril Hurley and her two lovely doggy assistants, Gabby and Miley.

The Challenge

Gabby & Mileys approached us to help launch their brand. It was Avril first foray into business and the business was entirely bootstrapped from her life savings. With a sizeable investment, it was imperative that the business was to see an immediate and consistent ROI.

Avril’s goal was convert her digital marketing through a mixture of organic and paid advertising into consistent sales leads to initially pay her overheads and become profitable within three months of the launch.

Our Approach

We undertook a series of brand workshop discovery sessions to establish her USP (unique selling point), brand messaging and to create her buyer personas. This information drove the deliverables and informed us about the content creation for paid ads.

The brand identity was inspired by the beautiful Old Head of Kinsale lighthouse which was built in 1853. The lighthouse was an integral conduit between land and sea for the port town. The main deliverables for the project were a the collection of candles and diffusers. As the product price point is leaning towards the high-end it of the market, it was vital that the packagings design stayed loyal to this. The solution was to strip back the design to a more minimalist product.
