Opus Creative were approached by Hotel Solutions to come up with a new logo design and stationary suite. The brief asked for a modern look, that reflects the companies renowned ability to organise large scale events with precision planning and stunning results.Hotel Solutions organise events both nationally and internationally. They are renowned for their customer service in the hospitality sector. Hotel Solutions approached us to help them with a 2015 brand redesign. The company was formerly known as Michelle Thornton’s Hotel Solutions and it was decided to shorten the name to Hotel Solutions in order for the brand name to be easier to remember.
The brief for the new brand called for the new logo to be modern, pro-active in problem solving and to communicate the synergy involved in successfully organising large scale events. The solution that we came up with involved using the HS monogram in Hotel Solutions as the basis for communicating the brief requests. This monogram melds the two letters together in an organised and energetic fashion to give an accurate visual of the company’s characteristics. The colours were chose to reinforce these characteristics. The navy represents a sense conservatism and responsibility that are keys ingredients of the company’s make-up. While the green communicates the sense of energetic purpose synonymous with Hotel Solutions.
Finally we were tasked with creating a stationary suite to compliment the new branding and compile a comprehensive brand guideline book to document all the new guidelines for the Hotel Solutions brand. This list documented a series of standards to adhere to regarding online and printed colours, fonts, positioning and other very project specific guides.
